Rob Richardson: Guitarists/Vocalists

A native of Philadelphia, Pa. Rob grew up playing piano, clarinet, drums as a youth.  He taught himself how to play guitar while attending Darthmouth college.  Performed in a jazzband there called the Barby Cost Big Band. After graduation his desire to become a bluesician became strong after listening to TBone Walker.  So he picked up his guitar and traveled the states playing the blues.  He stayed in San Francisco for a while where he played with Luther Tucker. He then moved to France where he traveled and played the streets of all the surrounding countries playing and living the blues for a year.  He then moved back to the states and traveled to Austin Tx where he hooked up with the Ledgendary Hosea Hargrove on 6th Street.  He then became Hosea band leader and played with him for four years.  He was noticed by Texas music Hall of Famer TD Bell and joined the Blues Specialists where he's been a fixture.  Rob is an accomplished song writer/composer and vocalists.  His style is all TEXAS and original.  Ain't bad for an Ivy League grad.
